Twist Lamp

An innovative design that accommodates the lighting cable up through the centre of the twist shaped lamp stem. Made from locally sourced ash wood, which is steam bent to give the twist form, then mounted on a decorative figured grain base. 10 lamp shade designs are available on the Twist Lamp. Please specify at the point of order.

Each lamp has 2 metres of 3 core cable with an inline switch and a 3 amp fuse plug. A suitable bulb is included with each order.

Twist Lampshades

The 10 shade designs feature natural materials and imagery. The locally printed ‘Meadow Gate’ and ‘Mountain Range’ lampshades are available in green, blue or red colours. The Lokta paper lampshades are made from the bark of the Lokta bush grown in Nepal. It is fast growing and highly renewable as it consistently regrows from the same root system each harvest. The Lokta paper can be used as a beautiful textured plain shade on its own or as a base on which to apply decoration such as flower petals (marigold and rose) or batik wax resist patterns.
