Jacob Footstools

The fleece from annual shearing of a local flock of Jacob Sheep are skilfully back felted by their owner into a strong rug. The flock all have names and I use fleeces from Poppy, Blackberry and Hazel because of their unique colours. I then apply the felted fleece to seating tops on stools and benches to give a luxurious, soft feel with unique patterning on every piece. The legs are solid turned ash with shaped feet.
